Toronto Life has a list of hot spots for TIFF for "celeb spotting" and etc...
It's a great list to refer to during the year even after TIFF if you are looking for a new space to check out. It could be a restaurant or a bar from pretentious Yorkville to a layed back Ossington (that more and more 905ers starting to invade on Saturdays).

Above, is Czehovski. Some spaces get boring after you visit them few times, but this one is still great. The food is over priced. Even when I had some money, I could only afford poutine. But! There is always beer that tastes great on the patio or even inside.
