LGFW 2011 - Korhani Rugs Runway Show

There is fashion, and there is home fashion. Korhani, a century-old Canadian company, has fused the two and presented their unique collection of garments, constructed from their core products: carpets and rugs.

The collection was presented in several vignettes, each bearing its own theme. I especially liked the segment where the models were outfitted in blue and pink psychedelic-print body suits. It was followed by a creative take on Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf, a foresty theme that featured thick fabrics, bold silhouettes, and nature-inspired prints and tones.

The show closed with fifties glamour looks: red lips and animal prints. They even had dogs on the runway!

Korhani is also a sponsor of the LGFW 2011.
