Esprit De Corps at the National Ballet of Canada

Last week Fira&Capa were invited to a private reception held by the National Ballet's Esprit de Corps  - a non-profit group supporting the ballet's Apprentice program. The reception was held at the Four Seasons Center for the Arts and the guest list included principal dancers Guillaume Cote and Heather Ogden, along with other members of the National Ballet. The catered event was followed by a dressed rehearsal of  Prokofiev's Cinderella - a breathtaking performance choreographed by James Kudelka. As usually, the production was beautiful, as were the costumes and stage decorations.

Esprit de Corps is a group for the young arts patrons that gives its members access to the exclusive events such as dressed rehearsals and behind-the-scenes tours. The annual membership is $500 and is fully tax-deductible. The group's calendar for 2011 includes a great number of social events perfect for networking and mingling with the up-and-coming art enthusiasts.
